Raft Building

This is a great activity for building teamwork and team spirit. Teams are given barrels, wooden spars, ropes, and the basic knowledge to build a successful raft. They then construct their raft and under instructor guidance the rafts are put on the water and everyone has a chance to paddle themselves about. Rafting has the potential to involve getting very cold and wet – particularly if tying knots is not your strong point.
